Automatic polishing of LCD panels

A glass substrate is an extremely flat, thin sheet of glass, and is one of the important raw materials for liquid crystal display panels. Key supporting materials for liquid crystal panels include glass substrates, optical films, liquid crystal materials, polarizing plates, etc. Panels can be divided into three types: LCD panels, OLED, and mini-LED. LCD panels require the glass substrate to be alkali-free; while OLED panels, in order to achieve higher resolution, higher brightness, and longer lifespan, have higher requirements for glass substrates.

Glass Substrate Processing Technology

Glass substrate production processes can be divided into Float Technology, Overflow Fusion Technology, and Slot Down Draw. Currently, only AGC, a company called Asahi Glass, uses the float method to manufacture TFT-LCD glass substrates globally, and the current mainstream production process in the industry is the overflow fusion method.

YHJ81190 Precision Single-Side Polishing Machine

Equipment features: Removal of glass scratches, thinning polishing, ultra-thin processing, large size

Processing needs: Automated polishing production line for large-size LCD panels

Response solution description: Using the YHJ81190A high-precision single-side polishing machine as the core, a complete automated production line for LCD panel polishing is built, which can realize high-precision polishing of both sides of the LCD panel, automated loading and unloading, turning, transmission, as well as a complete set of production processes such as cleaning and drying.

In addition to the YHJ81190A high-precision polishing machine, the main equipment also includes a robotic arm (including glass forks, tracks, etc.), glass material placement racks, glass suction fixtures, and conveyor lines. The glass conveyor line is arranged according to the customer's on-site space to save space as much as possible.
